Volunteering is a great way to help save a life, participate in a growing community and learn more about rabbit health and wellness. We have a variety of open opportunities — learn more below. Most volunteer opportunities have flexible hours.
Step 1: Submit a volunteer application.
Step 2: Attend a virtual volunteer orientation.
Requirements
Must be 16 or older.
Must show proof of covid-19 vaccination.
Must commit to a minimum of 4 hours per month for 4 months on a regularly recurring basis (biweekly or monthly).
Must attend a digital orientation
If you have a rabbit at home it is preferred that they are vaccinated for RHDV2 but not currently required.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Fundraising Grooming: Provide brushing and nail trims for the general public to raise funds to support the HRS rabbits!
Social Media Creation: Help craft fun and entertaining social media posts of our fabulous available rabbits!
Photography: Assist in collecting high-end, print quality photographs for our various creative projects.
Veterinary Assistants: Accrue veterinary clinic hours and experience under the supervision of our on-staff veterinarian.
