Humane Education
Since 1988, House Rabbit Society has been dedicated to educating the public about rabbits and advocating for their care. For over 35 years, we have had a global impact on countless rabbits and the people who love them, through rescue, education, and outreach.
Our website serves as a comprehensive hub for rabbit care information, while the House Rabbit Journal, our annual magazine, provides expert advice and inspiring stories for rabbit lovers around the world. We also offer free Zoom classes covering topics such as rabbit care, behavior, and more, and our youth and corporate outreach programs bring rabbits into workplaces, schools, and community groups to foster awareness and compassion. Additionally, we have developed extensive educational flyers which are used by the public as well as shelters to support both rabbits and their adopters.
By spreading knowledge, we empower people to better understand and care for rabbits, ensuring more of these wonderful animals find loving, informed homes. Explore our educational resources below and join us in making a difference in the lives of rabbits in need!
Our classes are built to support owners and shelters who would like to learn more about rabbits.
