The City of Richmond Community Services Department, Recreation Division invites one and all to the annual Park Rx Day event, scheduled to take place at Nicholl Park on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Park Rx Day is a national event that promotes the use of parks and green spaces to improve health and wellness in collaboration with healthcare providers.

Join us for a day with nature at the park to improve you health and well-being. Bring your family and friends to get active and learn about local health resources. Visit us at the House Rabbit Society informational booth. We will have activity packets, stickers and resources.

Park activities include free community fitness classes, picnic in the park lunch, chat with health care professionals, rock climbing wall and human hamster ball as well as family and kids sports games. Together we can keep our community HOPPY and HEALTHY.
