Join Berkeley Humane for Bark (& Meow) Around the Block, California’s largest single-location adoption event, where more than 30 Bay Area shelters and rescue organizations will gather with hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens searching for new loving homes.

With most adoption fees waived or reduced, there has never been a better time to welcome a new companion into your family.

Admission is free, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy, including live music, delicious food and local beer, shopping with pet and community vendors, family-friendly activities, and plenty of opportunities to meet amazing adoptable animals.
